You can get 24 gallons from the 7:1 BIBs (e.g. Sweet and Unsweet) and 15 gallons from the 5:1 BIB (e.g. Southern Sweet).
2. How much energy does the Brewmaster System use?
The Brewmaster uses very little energy, primarily because its operation requires only ambient water. This contrasts with tea brewers that keep a reservoir of water constantly at 170°. In usage studies the Brewmaster is projected to save approximately $250 annually because it uses only ambient water.
3. Should I use liners in my dispensers?
Liners are a fast, convenient and affordable way to maintain clean dispensers. Liners allow operators to avoid having to clean dispensers daily before they are filled with another batch of tea. At $1.00 per bag per day liners are a savings versus the costly practice of cleaning dispensers.
4. Should I use a filter with the Brewmaster System?
Water quality will impact the taste and aroma of Teafinity® Natural Brewed Iced Tea. We advise using a filter with the Brewmaster System to control for variances in water quality. Using a filter will result in a more consistent, great tasting beverage across all your locations. The S&D Model #: 10576 with a list price of $22 is a good choice. The replacement cartridge is S&D Model #: 10085.
5. What factors should I consider in my “cost of ownership” calculation? How can I calculate the cost of operating the Brewmaster versus the cost of a fresh-brewed equipment set-up?

6. How frequently do I need to clean the Brewmaster System?
For cleaning the Brewmaster System, we recommend using the Teafinity Line Flush 63 oz. BIB on each side of the equipment (for instance, Sweet and Unsweet). This should be a weekly practice. The Teafinity Line Flush 2L BIB cleans all lines, hoses, and the internal piping inside the Brewmaster System. Once connected, simply push the button labeled clean on the control panel to start the process. The BIB is good for one use then it must be discarded.
7. What is the shelf-life of the Teafinity® Natural Brewed Iced Tea BIBs?
The shelf life is 1 year for the unopened BIBs and 2 weeks once the BIB is connected in the machine. For Iced Tea being held in the dispenser, the rule of thumb is all day, but never over night.
8. Why is the taste of Teafinity® Natural Brewed Iced Tea better than other concentrates that I have tried in the past?
There are several major factors that explain why Teafinity® tastes so good. First, the flavor of Teafinity is derived only from real tea leaves. No artificial flavors or powders are utilized to build the flavor. Pure water is used to extract tea solids through a natural brewing process in much the same way you steep tea in your own kitchen. The Newco® Liquid Tea Brewer component of the system is warranted against manufacturer defects for twelve months. The warranty includes parts and labor. The warrant for control board electronics is eighteen months. It is also for parts and labor.

10. How often do I need to service my Brewmaster System? What are the wear parts? How often do they need to be replaced? It is a good practice to have the Brewmaster System serviced annually, but replacement of wear parts is highly contingent on the volume that each unit does. The equipment has 2 wear parts, the Solenoid valves used in the equipment and the beverage pumps. See below Maintenance Chart that indicates wear and replacement relative to various cycle counts. Also included is the life of a water filter cartridge (recommended).
